Afar Delegates

A group of Afar representatives attended the Somali Regional Gathering.

The group discussed peace betwen the Afar and the Somali clan, Issa, extesnively during the event. The leaders of the gathering took responsibility to work together to mediate in the long running conflict. Since the gathering much work has been done by the Somali Pastoralist Council that formed at the gathering and the Afar. Negotiations continue.
