How can education in northern Kenya's arid lands help build a stronger and more secure society and economy? The study finds that problems with quality, content and accessibility are perpetuated as much outside the schools as inside them. Parents, elders and young people are looking for ways to take the issue in hand.
Our publications pages contain documents that the Pastoralist Communication Initiative has produced or that have resulted from our work with pastoralists in the Horn of Africa. Many of these publications aim to appeal to wide audiences and some present research in ways that are easy to digest. We have also produced a series of publications which report from large gatherings of pastoralists across the region. Many of these have a particular focus on peace management.
Please browse through our publications. We have split them into six categories to help you find what you want. Alternatively use the search bar in the top left corner of this page.
